YongPyong Resort เปิดใช้บริการในปี ค. ศ. 1975 เป็นแหล่งกำเนิดของการพัฒนาและการนิยมเล่นสกีในเกาหลี และประสบความสำเร็จเป็นอย่างมากจากกิจกรรมสกีต่างๆ ในระดับนานา ชาติ นอกจากนี้ยังอีกหนึ่งสถานที่ที่เตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับกิจกรรมแข่งขันกีฬาสกีโอลิมปิก ในปี 2018 มี 28 สโลปและ 14 ลิฟท์ มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก เช่นสนามกอล์ฟ สวนน้ำ ที่พักและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่างๆช่วยให้ผู้เข้าชมสามารถเพลิดเพลินกับวันหยุดพักผ่อนในสภาพแวดล้อมธรรมชาติ

Slopes
YongPyong Resort has 28 slopes and 14 lift facilities. The main slop, “Rainbow Paradise,” is a long-distance course measuring approximately 6km, offering the utmost experience. The 1.1km “Gold Slope” is also popular among ski enthusiasts. The resort also operates Dragon Park, a place to enjoy various performances.

Special Features of Yongpyeong Resort
Peak Island
Korea’s first alpine water, Peak Island, is located 700m above sea level, the most comfortable altitude for the human body. Themed “Snow and Winter in Summer,” it consists of one underground floor and four aboveground floors and can accommodation over 3,500 visitors at once.
Mountain Coaster
The Mountain Coaster is an extreme sports activity offering a thrilling experience, measuring 1,300m in total length and sliding down steep slopes and curves at up to 40km per hour. It is open during spring, summer, and autumn
